Product Description

Composition
Each bolus contains
Vitamin A 1,00,000 IU
Vitamin D3 10,000 IU
Vitamin E 30 IU
Vitamin C 200 mg.
Pharmacology
Vitamin A is necessary for many functions in animal including vision, bone development, immunity and maintenance of epithelial tissue. Vitamin D is involved in the absorption and metabolism of calcium & phosphorus, formation of bones and teeth. It has specific role in the prevention of rickets in young animals & osteomalacia in adult animals. Vitamin E is an antioxidant. It enhances reproductive performance and plays important role in functioning of immune system. Vitamin C is an antioxidant & plays important role in several biological processes such as healing of wound.
Indications
For prevention & treatment of infertility, mastitis, weakness, anorexia, rickets, stress, poor immunity & poor meat &/or milk production.
Dosage & administration
Route of administration: Oral administration only
General purpose/Beef Fattening: 1-2 bolus per animal daily for 3-5 days orally.
To induce heat: 2-4 Bolus/ cow.
The bolus may be administered orally directly or through mixing with feed by grinding the bolus.
Or as directed by the Veterinary physician.
Contraindication
Vitaoral Vet is contraindicated in animals in case of intoxication due to hypervitaminosis and hypersensitive to it.
Warning & precaution
The use of intramuscular lipid soluble vitamin in horses may increase the risk of myositis and myonecrosis.
Side effects
Common side effects: Low incidence of tissue swelling at the injection site may be observed. These reactions disappeared without treatment.
Rare side effects: Anaphylactic reactions may be observed.
Use in pregnancy & lactation
Vitaoral Vet may be used in pregnancy & lactation.
Drug interaction
With medicine: Not known.
With food & others: No known.
Overdose
Vitamin A hypervitaminosis may cause drowsiness, teratogenic effects and skin degeneration. Vitamin D hypervitaminosis may cause
hypercalcemia resulting organ calcification, renal and cardiovascular damage. Vitamin E hypervitaminosis may increase the requirement of vitamin K.
Withdrawal time
Meat & Milk- 0 (Zero) day.
Storage
Store below 30° C and dry place, protected from light. Keep all medicines out of reach of children
