Ingredients and Composition (Per 1 ml dose):

Rabies Virus Glycoprotein .................... ≥ 1 IU

Thiomersal (maximum) .................... 0.1 mg

Aluminium Adjuvant (hydroxide form) ......... 1.7 mg

Indications
For the prevention of rabies in dogs, cats, horses, weasels, buffaloes, cows, and sheep.
Dosage and Administration
Administer 1 ml subcutaneously following the recommended schedule:

Dogs and Cats:
Initial vaccination at 12 weeks of age.*
Repeat as per local veterinary regulations.
*If vaccinated before 12 weeks, an additional dose must be given at or after 12 weeks of age.

Weasels:
First dose at 3 months of age.
Repeat annually.

Horses:

Under 6 months: First dose at 4 months of age**, followed by a second dose one month later.

6 months and older: Single dose.
Repeat annually.
**If vaccinated before 4 months of age, an additional dose is required at or after 4 months.

Buffaloes, Cows, and Sheep:

Under 9 months: First dose at 4 months***, second dose between 9–12 months of age.

9 months and older: Single dose.
Repeat annually.
***Animals vaccinated before 4 months must receive an additional dose at or after 4 months of age.
Note: All vaccination schedules should comply with the national veterinary regulations of the respective country.
Contraindications
Do not administer subcutaneously to horses.
Special Precautions
Only vaccinate healthy animals that have been dewormed at least 10 days prior to vaccination.
Possible Side Effects

As with other vaccines, rare hypersensitivity reactions may occur and should be managed symptomatically.

Due to the aluminium content, temporary small nodules may form at the injection site.
Overdose Information
No adverse reactions have been observed in animals even after an overdose.
Immunological Properties
Rabisin is an inactivated rabies vaccine with aluminium-based adjuvant. It stimulates immunity by inducing antibody production and protective immune responses against the rabies virus.
Use in Pregnancy and Lactation
No adverse effects have been reported in pregnant female cattle.
Drug Interactions

Handling of Unused Product or Waste
As the vaccine is inactivated, no special handling is required for unused doses.
Dispose of unused or waste material in accordance with local regulations.
Storage Instructions
Store between 2°C and 8°C.
Protect from light.
