Composition:
Each 100 ml Envit-C liquid contains extracts of – Emblica officinalis 66.66 ml & Piper longum 2.64 gm.
Description:
Envit-C liquid is the highest quality, most potent and most effective form of Amla in the form of liquid, which is time tested and proven to be clinically effective.
Action:
Emblica officinalis: Emblica officinalis is highly nutritious and is an important dietary source of Vit-C, minerals and amino acids. It contains phenols, including Gallic acid, quercetin, kaempferol, corilagin. Emblica officinalis is rich in two hydrolysable tannins – Emblicanin A & B, which provides gallic acid, egallic acid and glucose. A tannin containing gallic acid, egallic acid and glucose of fruits prevents the oxidation of vitamin and renders highest level of vitamin C. The flavonoids (e.g. quercetin, kaempferol) present in E. officinalis act as strong antioxidant. It counteracts the toxic effects of prolonged exposure to environmental heavy metals. It increases glutathione (GSH) levels and glutathione peroxidase (GPx) activity in macrophages and decreases free radical production. Due to presence of phenols in E. officinalis it is also effective to detoxify blood from chemicals and harmful toxic substances. Terpenoids of E.officinalis improves lung functions.
Piper longum: Piper longum is certainly one of the most widely used Ayurvedic herbs for enhancing digestion, assimilation and metabolism of food. In a study, it was found that due to presence of piperine Piper longum has significant protective action against gastric ulcer.
Indication and uses: Envit-C liquid is indicated for vit-C deficiency, stress, gastritis, supportive treatment in Coccidiosis, debeaking, healing of ulcers, burn, fracture, prevention of gout, development of immunity etc. It is especially valuable in tuberculosis of lungs, respiratory distress, bronchitis etc. It also acts as an antioxidant and prevents ageing.
Dosage and Administration:
Poultry: 2-3 ml / litre of drinking water (0.4 ml Envit-C liquid /kg b.wt.) daily for 3-4 consecutive days.
Large animal: 4 ml Envit-C liquid per 10 kg body weight daily for 3-4 consecutive days.

Contraindication:
There is no evidence available on contraindication but it should not be used to the animals hypersensitive to any of its ingredients.
Use in pregnancy & Lactation:
No adverse effect of Envit-C liquid has been reported.
Drug interaction:
Large dose of vitamin C may interfere with the absorption and metabolism of vitamin B12.
