Description:
Enrex Vet oral solution is a pale yellow clear solution of enrofloxacin belongs to quinolone group, which act by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase, an enzyme that belongs to the topoisomerase group. The gyrase present in bacteria is necessary for the DNA replication, transcription and certain aspects of preparation and recombination.
Composition:
Each ml solution contains Enrofloxacin BP 100 mg.
Indications:
Enrex Vet solution is effective against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria, Mycoplasma and anaerobic organisms. Its wide spectrum of activity includes the pathogenic organisms like E. coli, Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeroginosa, Brodettela bronchisepotica, Mycoplasma spp., Clostridium perfringes and Camphylobacter. Diseases produced by these organism in poultry can effectively be treated with Enrex Vet oral solution.
Dosage & Administration:
Enrex Vet oral solution can be administered through drinking water at the
following dosage rate-

1 ml Enrex Vet per 4-8 liters water for 3 days |
2.5-5.0 mg Enrofloxcin |

Or as advised by the registered veterinarian.
Contra-Indications and precautions:
- Enrex Vet oral solution is not recommended to use in combination with
Chloramphenicol, Macrolides and Tetracyclines.
- Magnesium and Aluminium containing substances might hamper the
absorption of Enrofloxacin from the Gl tract.
- In case of broilers the drug should be withdrawn 7 Days prior to slaughter.
- Do not administer in cases with reported resistance to Quinolones.
Withdrawal Period:
Meat- “7” Seven days, Egg- “0” Zero day.
Storage:
Store at below 30oC in a dry place protected from light.
Keep out of reach of children.
