Composition
Each gram powder contains;
Ammonium bicarbonate BP 250 mg
Sodium bicarbonate BP 650 mg
Nuxvomica BPC 70 mg
Gentian powder BPC 15 mg
Ginger powder BPC 15 mg
Mode of action
1. Ammonium bicarbonate: During high temperature and in different stress conditions, animals suffer from loss of excess bicarbonate ion. Digimax®powder maintains the bicarbonate ion balance of the livestock.
2. Sodium bicarbonate:
a. Sodium bicarbonate acts as an antacid and increases the gastric pH. As a result animals get rid of gastritis.
b. If the formation of bicarbonate from the lactic acid by the carbohydrate metabolism delayed/ stopped, excess lactic acid is formed. Sodium bicarbonate helps in decreasing the excess acid.
3. Gentian powder:a. Gentian powder is an appetizer & helps in digestion. It also helps in mucous and bile secretion. b. It also act as carminative.
4. Ginger powder:a. Ginger powder helps against Dyspepsia, Flatulence & Colic. b. Helps in secretion of gastric juices.
5. Nuxvomica: Can be used against rheumatic diseases such as; Arthritis, Paralysis, sexual, nervous and mental weakness, etc.
Indications
Digimax®powder is effective against various diseases like; ion imbalance, acidemia, gastric, dyspepsia, flatulence, colic, rheumatic diseases like arthritis, paralysis, sexual weakness & nervous weakness.
Dosage & administration
20 gm (1 sachet) Digimax®powder per 1-2 liters of water should be given to the ruminants by stomach tube or other way for consecutive 2-3 days.
Cattle, buffalo & horses (100-500 kg body weight): 1-3 sachet of Digimax®powder (20 gm) twice daily.
Calf, goat & ram (15-25 kg body weight): ¼ - ½ sachet of Digimax®powder (20 gm) twice daily.
Or, as per direction of veterinary consultant
Precaution
Store in cool and dry place, away from light. Keep out of the reach of children. Once opened the sachet should be used quickly.
