Cold Care Vet is a white colored bolus for oral administration that contains Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with productive cough in Livestock
Composition
Each Cold Care " Vet bolus contains Bromhexine Hydrochloride BP 100 mg.
Mode of action
Cold Care Vet is an oral mucolytic agent with a low level of associated toxicity. Cold Care® Vet acts on the mucus at the formative stages in the glands, within the mucus-secreting cels. Cold Care Vet disrupts the structure of acid mucopolysac- charide fibres in mucoid sputum and produces a less viscous mucus, which is easier to expectorate
Indications
Cold Care Vet is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disorders associated with productive cough in livestock, This includes:
• Pneumonia • Bronchitis Rhinitis Cough etc.
Dosage and Administration
Cattle : 0,5 mg/Kg or 1 Bolus / 200 Kg body weight, once daily for 5 days
Horse: 0,20 -0,40 mg/Kg or 1 Bolus/250-500 Kg body weight, once daily
Dog: 2 mg/Kg or 1 Bolus/50 Kg body weight, twice daily for 5 days
Cat: 1 mg/kg body weight, once daily for 7 days

Contraindications
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to Bromhexine Hydrochloride.
Storage Condition
Do not store above 30°C temperature. Keep away from light and wet place. Keep out of reach of children.
Side effects
Vertigo, sweating, alergic reactions or gastrointestinal side effects may occur.
Use in pregnancy and lactation
Bromhexine crosses the placental barrier. Animal studies do not indicate direct or indirect harmful effect with respect to pregnancy, fetal development, parturition or postnatal development. However, risk & necessity should be considered during administration in pregnant & lactating animal
Withdrawal Period
Meat- 1 days, Milk- should not be used in cattle producing milk for human consumption.

Cold Care Vet Bolus: Box containing 5 strips of 4 Boli each. Each bolus contains Bromhexine Hydrocoride BP 100 mg.
