Each 100 gm Becevit-Vet powder contains - Vitamin B1 200 mg, Vitamin pp 750 mg, Vitamin B2 400 mg, Folic acid 25 mg, Vitamin B5 450 mg, Biotin 1.5 mg, Vitamin B6 150 mg, Vitamin C 500 mg, Vitamin B12 1000 mcg
Pharmacology:
Becevit-Vet Powder contains the most important members of the vitamin B group in pure form and in therapeutically balanced proportions. The members of the vitamin B group contained in Becevit-Vet are components of enzyme systems that regulate various stages of carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, each of the components playing a specific biological role. Deficiency of B vitamin causes Polyneuritis, Curled toe paralysis, inapetance, dermatitis, glositis, stomstitis etc.
Vit- B1 helps in carbohydrate metabolism & synthesis of Acetylcolin (Neurotransmitor). Vit- B2 acts as co-enzyme helps in metabolism of carbohydrate, amino acid & fat. Vit- B2 is involved in amino acid metabolism. Vit- B2 acts as chick-antidermatitis factor. Helps in energy production, fatty acid metabolism, Crebs cycle, antibody production, neuron function, synthesis of steroid hormone. Vit- B2 helps in intermediate metabolism of protein & fat. Vit- B12 participates in different enzymatic reaction in the body & helps in metabolism of protein, carbohydrate & fat. Folic acid participates in different bio-chemical reaction in the body, helps in synthesis of amino acid, cell division. Biotin helps in metabolism of carbohydrate & lipid and promotes growth. Vit-C acts as an anti-stress vitamin.
Indication:
For prevention of B-vitamin deficiencies to maintain normal growth of birds.
Dosage & Administration:
Poultry: 1 gm / 1 litre drinking water Or, 200 gm / 100 kg feed for 3-5 days.
Contraindication & Precaution:
Becevit-Vet is contraindicated in birds and animals hypersensitive to any of its components.
Side effects:
It has no side effect at recommended dose.Side effects have been reported with specific vitamins & minerals with higher dosage.
