Composition:
Each vial contains ampicillin sodium BP 2.12 gm equivalent to 2.0 gm ampicillin along with 10 ml WFI.
Indication :
Indicated in different bacterial diseases of animals e.g. Pneumonia, Foot rot, Enteritis, Salmonellosis, Calf scour, Infected wound, Fever, Colibaciliosis, Metritis, Mastitis, Pyelonephritis, Black quarter, Joint infection, Kidney infection, Haemorrhagic septicemia etc.
Dosage and Administration:
Ampicin-Vet®powder for injection should be mixed with 10 ml WFI and then administer by IM or IV route. Parenteral dose is 7 mg/kg body wt.

Contraindication:
The drug is contraindicated in animals hypersensitive to ampicillin.
Precaution:
For veterinary use only. To be dispensed only by or on the prescription of a registered veterinary doctor. Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
Side effect:
In recommended dosage, Ampicin-Vet is relatively non-toxic and free from adverse effect. Moreover, skin rash, pain at the site of injection, diarrhoea etc. may occur.
Use in pregnancy & lactation:
Ampicin-Vet is safe in pregnancy state and in lactating period in animals.
