Composition:
Each gram contains ciprofloxacin hydrochloride USP which is 200 mg. Equivalent to ciprofloxacin
Description:
Ciprofloxacin is a synthetic second-generation quinolone with broad spectrum activity.
Fluoroquinolone antibiotics are effective against all types of pathogenic mycoplasma in poultry and against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
Ciprofloxacin destroys bacteria by inhibiting the activity of DNA gyrase and DNA topoisomerase enzymes required for bacterial nucleic acid synthesis.
Indication:
Treatment and secondary bacterial infections in poultry respiratory, digestive, urinary and reproductive tracts caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and mycoplasma such as colibacillosis, salmonellosis or pullorum disease, fowl typhoid, pasteurellosis or fowl cholera, necrotic enteritis, CRD and viral diseases. Useful in prevention
Dosages:
Treatment - 1 gm/4 liter food mixed with water for 4-5 days.
Prevention - 1 gram/8 liters of food mixed with water for 4-5 days.
Or use as directed by a registered veterinarian.
Withdrawal Period:
Poultry meat should not be eaten for 6 days after the use of Cipril 20 Dwsp (Vet).
Stroge:
Store below 300°C, away from light and in a dry place. Keep all medicines out of the reach of children.
Can be sold/consumed only on the prescription of a registered veterinarian. Can't use more than the amount specified in the policy. Complete the full course as advised by the doctor.
