DESCRIPTION
Ciproflox® Vet belongs to 2nd generation fluoroquinolone with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria and mycoplasma.
COMPOSITION
Each mL of Ciproflox®
Vet contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride USP equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 100 mg.
MODE OF ACTION
Ciproflox® Vet is bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and the topoisomerase IV enzyme, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.
INDICATIONS
Ciproflox® Vet may be used against almost all types of bacterial & Mycoplasmal diseases, e.g. Colibacillosis, Salmonellosis, C.R.D. (Mycoplasmosis), Infectious Coryza, Pasteurellosis, Streptococcosis, Staphylococcosis, etc. Moreover, Ciproflox® Vet may act against other diseases caused by bacteria e.g. Klebsiella, Shigella, Yersinia, Aeromonas, Proteus, Pseudomonas, Neisseria, Campylobacter etc. Ciproflox® Vet may also used in case of viral diseases followed by secondary
bacterial infections.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
1 mL/1-2 Liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Or, as per directions of registered veterinarian/ Consultant.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Ciprofloxacin is not recommended for use in combination with chloramphenicol, macrolides or tetracycline.
PRECAUTIONS
Ciprofloxacin should be used in animal those suffering from liver and kidney disease with caution.
SIDE EFFECT
Lack of appetite, vomiting, central nervous system disorder such as epilepsy or
dizziness may observe in some animal.
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat-7 days, Egg- 5 days.
STORAGE
Store Ciproflox® Vet Oral Solution below 30 °C. If Ciproflox® Vet Oral Solution is stored below 15 °C, appearance may be changed but efficacy will be same. In this case use it after warming at 40-50 °C. Shake well before use.
