Cidacot®
Composition:
Each bolus contains Sulfamethoxazole BP 1000 mg and Trimethoprim BP 200 mg.
Indications:
Aquatic animals: Used for prevention and treatment of various infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, such as: Hemorrhagic Septicemia, Diphtheria, Pasteurellosis, Actinobacillosis, Enterobacteriosis, Clostridiosis, Bloody Diarrhea, Febrile Conditions, Necrotic Rhinitis, Ketoacidosis, Pneumonitis, and Waller’s Necrobacillosis. Also used for skin and other microbial infections.

1 bolus per 40 kg body weight (or 30 mg/kg body weight daily) |
The daily dose should be divided into two parts. Administer orally by mixing with feed or water, or through drenching.
Uterine Use Instructions:
Crush the bolus and mix with warm water for administration through a catheter.
Cows, buffalo, bulls: 2–4 boluses
Goats and sheep: 1–2 boluses
Or as advised by a registered veterinarian.
Contraindications:
Not indicated in animals sensitive to the active ingredients.

Side Effects:
No significant side effects observed at the recommended dose. However, long-term use may result in hematological changes, hypoplasia, and vitamin K deficiency. Hypoglycemia may also occur in some cases.
