Product Description
Shitril Bolus Vet is a combind drug of triclabendazole and
levamizole is prepared for the treatment and control of
Fascioliasis and gastro-intestinal round worms and lung
worm in cattle, buffalo, sheep and goat.
Composition:
Each Shitril vet bolus contains Triclabendazole BP 900 mg &
Levamisole Hydrocloride BP equivalent to 600 mg Levamisole
Indication:
Shitril Bolus Vet is a highly effective flukicide & nematodicide. All types of fascioliasis i.e. acute, sub-acute and chronic
caused by Fasciola hepatica, Fasciola gigantica and major
ruminant parasites of the stomach and intestine. Haemonchus & Ostertagia of the abomasums, Cooperia, Trichostrongylus & Bunostomum of the small intestine can be effectively treated.
Dosages & Administration:
Shitril Bolus Vet can be administered orally 1 blous for 75 kg
body weight.
Precaution:
Adequate fluid intake is to be maintained after therapy.
Safety Margin:
Shitril Bolus Vet is well tolerated by the animals. Triclabendazole is the safest flukicide discovered so far, with safety
index of about 16 times and safety factor of Lavamisole is
about 3 times than the recommended dosages.
Contraindications:
Don’t use in animals with known hypersensivity to levamisole and triclabendazole.
Use in pregnancy and lactation :
In recommended dosage levamisole and triclabendazole do
not have effect on pregnancy.
Withdrawal period:
Meat- 28 days & Milk- 10 days.
Storage:
Store in a cool & dry place, protected from light.
Keep all medicine out of reach of children.
