Composition:
Each gram powder contains
Tylvalosin tartrate INN equivalent to Tylvalosin 625mg
Mode of Action:
Tylvalosin is a latest macrolide antibiotic highly effective against Mycoplasma, gram positive
bacteria and some gram negative bacteria. It acts by inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.
Tylvalosin has both bacteriostatic and bactericidal action; it is rapidly absorbed and diffused in tissues which is three times faster than tylosin
Indication:
Valotil vet is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disease associated with
Mycoplasma gallisepticum &
Mycoplasma synoviae.
Valotil vet also indicated for treatment of diseases associated with
Clostridium perfringes (Necrotic enteritis) and
Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT)
Dosage & Administration:
1gm / 5 liter of drinking water (20-25mg/Kg body weight) for consecutive 3-5 days.
Or, as per direction of registered Veterinarian/poultry consultant
Contraindication:
Do not use in birds which shows hypersensitivity against Tylvalosin
