Indication
Cattle, Buffalo, Horse, Sheep, Goat, Dog & Cat : Actinomycosis, anthrax, black quarter, calf diphtheria, foot rot,leptospirosis, malignant oedema, pneumonia, navel ill, abscess, mastitis, metritis, strangles, bacterial influenza, bronchitis, castration, pyogenic infections, urinary tract infections etc.
Dosage & Administration
Fimox Vet 1 g - In Genaral 1 ml/10 kg (6-11 mg/kg) body weight, every 24 hours interval for 3-5 days. Give injection in different site in each time. Cattle, Buffalo : Daily 10 ml/100 kg body weight for 3-5 days. Goat, Sheep : Daily 5 ml /50 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Dog : Daily 1 ml/10 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Cat : Daily 0.5 ml/5 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Fimox DS Vet 2 g - In Genaral 1ml/20 kg (6-11 mg/kg) body weight, every
24 hours interval for 3-5 days. Give injection in different site in each time.
Cattle, Buffalo : Daily 5 ml/100 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Goat, Sheep : Daily 2.5 ml /50 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Dog : Daily 0.5 ml/10 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Cat : Daily 0.25 ml/5 kg body weight for 3-5 days.
Cattle, Buffalo, Sheep and Goat: By IM injection only.
Dogs and Cats : By IM or SC injection.
Message the injection site after administration. Dose volumes if excess of
20 ml should be injected at more than one site.
Or prescribed by the registered veterinarian.
Withdrawl Period:
Meat - 25 days & Milk - 3 days 6 hours.
Precautions:
As penicillin hypersensitivity may give rise to skin rash and anaphylaxis, it is advisable to perform test before administering Fimox Vet/ Fimox DS Vet Injection.
Use in pregnancy & lactation:
Fimox Vet /Fimox DS Vet injection is safe for use in pregnant and in lactating animals. Higher dosage rate have the disadvantage of increasing penicillin residues in milk.
