Composition:

  • Pexacin® 10% Solution:
    Each ml contains Pefloxacin Mesylate Dihydrate BP equivalent to 100 mg Pefloxacin base.

  • Pexacin® 10% Soluble Powder:
    Each gram contains Pefloxacin Mesylate Dihydrate BP equivalent to 100 mg Pefloxacin base.

Indications:

Pexacin® is used for bacterial and mycoplasma-related infections including:

  • Pseudomonas, Vibrio, Aeromonas, Edwardsiella,

  • Mycoplasmosis, Cirrhosis, Gas Bubble Disease, Pasteurellosis, Columnaris, Septicemia, and more.
    It is effective against a wide range of Gram-negative, Gram-positive, and Mycoplasma pathogens.

Dosage & Administration:

Animal Dosage & Mixing Instructions Duration
Fish    
Prevention: 1 ml in 8–10 liters of water    
Treatment: 1 ml in 1–2 liters of water    
Powder (for water treatment): 1 g in 1–2 liters of water 3–5 days  

Additional Information:

  • Use as per the advice of aquatic veterinarians or technicians.

  • Withdrawal Period: Fish can be harvested 4 days after the last application.

  • Safety: No visible side effects at the prescribed dose.
