Composition: Each gm powder contains Neomycin Sulfate USP 500mg.
Indication: Neomycin is indicated for the prevention and treatment of bacterial enteritis in poultry caused by bacteria susceptible to neomycin, such as E. coli, Salmonella, Campylobacter spp. etc. It is also used for the prevention and treatment of naval ill of chicks.
Dosage: 1g powder/2 liters of drinking water for 4-5 consecutive days. Or, as per direction by the registered veterinarian.
Precaution: Because aminoglycosides can cause irreversible ototoxicity, they should be used with caution in “working” dogs. Aminoglycosides should be used with caution in patients with neuromuscular disorders. Must complete full course according to the registered veterinarian.",

Side_effects: Rarely, oral neomycin may cause ototoxicity, nephrotoxicity, severe diarrhea, and intestinal malabsorption.
