DESCRIPTION
DFN TM Vet IM/IV/SC Injection belongs to 3rd generation fluoroquinolone with broad spectrum antimicrobial activity towards gram positive, gram negative Bacteria and Mycoplasma. It is dedicated for veterinary use.
COMPOSITION
Each mL contains Danofloxacin Mesylate INN equivalent to Danofloxacin 25 mg.
MODE OF ACTION
DFN TM Vet IM/IV/SC Injection is a bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and the topoisomerase IV enzyme, thereby inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.
INDICATIONS
DFN TM Vet IM/IV/SC Injection is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disease caused by Pasteurella haemolytica and P.multocida and the treatment of enteric infections caused by Escherichia coli and Salmonella spp. in cattle.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
1 mL/20 kg body weight (1.25 mg/kg body weight) for 3-5 days through IM/IV/SC route.
Or, as per directions of registered Veterinarian / Consultant.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
As quinolones have rarely caused CNS stimulation, the special cautions should be taken in the use of Danofloxacin in animals with known or suspected CNS disorders.
SIDE EFFECT
Subcutaneous injection in cattle may cause local inflammatory reaction.
USE IN PREGNANCY & LACTATION
The effects of Danofloxacin on reproductive performance and on pregnancy have not been assessed.

Meat: 5 days
Milk: 48 hours
STORAGE CONDITION
Store at or below 30 °C temperature. Keep away from light and wet place. Keep all medicine out of reach of children.

DFN TM Vet IM/IV/SC Injection: Each carton contains one vial of 10 mL DFN TM Vet IM/IV/SC Injection. Each mL contains Danofloxacin Mesylate INN equivalent to Danofloxacin 25 mg.
