Product Description
Composition:
- Taxovet® 1 gm: Each 5 gm powder contains Ceftriaxone 1 gm (as sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium USP) and Lidocaine 1% USP vial.
- Taxovet® 2 gm: Each 10 gm powder contains Ceftriaxone 2 gm vial (as sterile Ceftriaxone Sodium USP) and Lidocaine 1% USP vial.
Indications: Taxovet® is indicated for the treatment of diseases caused by gram-positive, gram-negative, and anaerobic bacteria. Respiratory tract infections (pneumonia), urinary tract infections (pyelonephritis, cystitis, urethritis), skin and soft tissue infections (abscesses, boils), bone and joint infections (arthritis), and ear infections (otitis externa, media, interna). Taxovet® is also effective against various diseases caused by susceptible bacteria such as mastitis, endometritis, dermatitis, hemorrhagic septicemia, black quarter, anthrax, foot rot, diarrhea, infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (IBK), salmonellosis, brucellosis, actinomycosis, meningitis, and prevention of post-operative infections. Additionally, Taxovet® is used to prevent secondary bacterial infections in diarrheal diseases (foot and mouth disease, ephemeral fever, and shipping fever).
Directions for Use:

- Mix the entire contents of Taxovet® 1 gm powder with 5-10 ml of distilled water 1% USP and shake well until all the powder is completely dissolved.

- Mix the entire contents of Taxovet® 2 gm powder with 10-20 ml of distilled water 1% USP and shake well until all the powder is completely dissolved.
- Dosage and Administration: To be used only as directed by a registered veterinarian.
