New benzimidazole anthelmintics
Characteristics:
- Broad spectrum dewormer, active against Roundworms, Lungworms and Tapeworms in cattle, horses, sheep and goats. Also active against eggs of roundworms and liver flukes.
- Albendazole is a benzimidazole derivatives which acts primarily by binding to nematode tubulin. Specially, it binds to dimetric tubulin, which in turn, prevents the polymerization of tubulin during microtubule assembly. It is sensitive are Ostertagia, Trichostrongylus, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Cooperia, Capillaria, Strongyloides, Dictyocaulus viviparus, Oesophagostonum, Moniezia, Syngamus trachea. Adult stages and eggs of Fasciola hepatica.
Composition: Each L contains Albendazole .........100g
Indications: For removal and control of adult, larvae and eggs stage of Nematoda spp, Lungworms, Tapeworms, Liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica) in cattle, horses, sheep and poultry.
Administration & Dosage: Cattle, horses, sheep and goats poultry
Nematodaspp, Lungworms, Tapeworms -------- 5mL/100kg of body weight 0.1mL/kg of body weight.
Liver flukes (Fascioal hepatica) --------- 5~10mL/100kg of body weight.
Withdrawal period: 10 days (Milk : 72 hours).
