Product Description

Composition
Each bolus contains Levamisole (as Levamisole Hydrochloride BP) 1200 mg & Triclabendazole INN 1800 mg.
Pharmacology
Levamisole causes paralysis of the worms & Triclabendazole kills worms by damaging the integrity & transport functions of cells within the worms & ultimately causes death of worms.
Indications
LT-VET® DS is highly effective broad spectrum anthelmintic. It is indicated for the treatment & control of both liver fluke & roundworm in livestock.
Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral
1 bolus/ 150 kg body weight (19.5 mg /kg body weight). LT-VET® DS bolus can be administered directly into the mouth of the animals,
either by dissolving the bolus in water and given as a drench or by mixing with any feed.
Or, as directed by the Registered Veterinary Physician.
Withdrawal Time
Meat- Meat must not be consumed up to 28 days after administration of this medicine & Milk- Milk must not be consumed up to 10 days after administration of this medicine.
Contraindication
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Levamisole & Triclabendazole.
Warning & Precaution
Provide sufficient drinking water to the animals after administration of LT-VET® DS.
Side effects
Common side effects: Salivation.
Rare side effects: Hypersalivation, frothing from mouth, muscle tremor, recumbency, rapid respiration & central nervous system depression may be seen.
Use in pregnancy & lactation
In recommended dosage Levamisole & Triclabendazole do not have effect on pregnancy.
Drug interaction
With medicine: Efficacy may be reduced after using Triclabendazole with Piperazine, Ketoprofen, Meloxicam, Levofloxacin and Pefloxacin.
With food & others: No interaction were found with feed.
Overdose
Overdosing may cause toxicity in animals especially in calves if the dose rate is not based on their actual body weight or health status.
No specific antidote is known, only symptomatic treatments are recommended.
Safety Margin
LT-VET® DS is well tolerated by the animals. Safety margin of Triclabendazole is about 16 times and Levamisole is about 3 times
than the recommended dosage.

Store below 30° C and dry place, protected from light.
Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
