DESCRIPTION
Enroflox® Vet Solution is a broad spectrum bactericidal antibiotic belongs to second generation Fluoroquinolone group. It is dedicated only for veterinary use.
COMPOSITION
Enroflox® Vet: Each mL Enroflox® Vet solution contains Enrofloxacin BP 100 mg.
MODE OF ACTION
Enroflox® Vet solution inhibits DNA gyrase which causes negative supercoiling of bacterial DNA, thus bacterial DNA replication, transcription and certain aspects of preparation and recombination
inhibits. Enroflox® Vet has post antibiotic effect against some bacteria so that recurrent attack of bacteria may abolished.
INDICATIONS
Enroflox® Vet solution is used in the treatment of the following different poultry diseases by Bacteria and Mycoplasma.
• Colibacillosis
• Salmonellosis
• C.R.D.
• Mycoplasmosis
• Infectious Coryza
• Fowl Cholera
• Viral diseases followed by secondary bacterial infections.
DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION
Enroflox® Vet 1 mL/1-2 Liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
CONTRAINDICATION
Not recommend for using in combination with Chloramphenicol, Macrolides or Tetracyclines.
PRECAUTION
Magnesium and Aluminium containing substances might hamper the absorption of Enrofloxacin from gastrointestinal tract (GIT).
WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat: 3 days
