Description
Albendazole is a broad-spectrum dewormer which belongs to the group of benzimidazolederivatives. It is active against gastrointestinal roundworms and tapeworms in Poultry, cattle, sheep & goats.
Indication
Alben vet suspension acts against the following parasites:
Nematode
Ascaridia galli
Syngamus trachea
Heterakis gallinarum
Capillaria spp.
Oxyspirura mansoni
Cestode
Raillietina spp.
Davainea spp.
Dosage & Administration
Round worm: 10mg / kg body weight or, 0.1ml / kg body weight
Tape worm: 20mg / kg body weight or, 0.2ml / kg body weight
Or, as per direction of registered Veterinarian/ Poultry consultant.
Withdrawal period
Meat - 12 days
Egg - 7 days
